Choose a ballot
Crossing out a name: If you do not want to give a vote to one or more candidates on the list, you can cross out their names, by drawing a line through the entire line they are on.
-> Candidates whose names are crossed out do not get any votes. The crossed out lines count as votes for the list.Pre-accumulating: If you want to give two votes to a person who has already appeared once on the pre-printed ballot, add their name and number by hand.
->The person whose name appears twice on the ballot gets two votes to their name, and the list gets two votes.
Please note: a name cannot appear more than twice on the ballot and the total number of names on the ballot must not exceed the number of seats allocated to your canton. If this number has already been reached and you wish to pre-accumulate, you must first cross out a name.Splitting the vote: If you wish to vote for a list while adding one or more candidates from other lists in your canton, write the additional name(s) and number(s) by hand on the pre-printed ballot.
-> The person added gets a vote to their name, and the list on which they originally appeared gets a party vote. The modified list loses one party vote.
Please note that the same name cannot appear more than twice on the ballot and the total number of names on the ballot must not exceed the number of seats allocated to your canton.
If this number has already been reached and you want to split the vote, you must first cross out a name.
Field reserved for the name of the list: you can leave this field blank or write the name or number of a list chosen among the pre-printed lists.
Lines reserved for the candidates: you can write by hand the name and number of the candidates you have chosen. They must already appear on the pre-printed lists.
Pre-accumulation: you can also pre-accumulate a candidate’s name on the blank ballot. A candidate’s name and number cannot be entered more than twice.
